You provide me with:
I provide you with the following information:
Q: Is this a genealogy research?
A: This service is not an individual genealogy research. Therefore, I cannot research individual records. Instead, I use my library of reference books as well as web-based search functions on Japanese family names as well as Kamon to research what they have on your particular family name.
Q: How do I pay you?
A: Payment can be made either through Paypal or by check. Payment is not due until the report is sent. I work on an honor system and trust clients to pay me.
Q: What if you don't find enough information?
A: Some names are obscure and there is a lack of information. If I do not find enough information on your family, there is no charge.
Q: What if I have a picture of my family's kamon already but I can't identify it?
A: For the same charge of $100 I can research the kamon and tell you what it is and what it means, as well as research the family name.
Q: Will I have one, definitive kamon for my family as a result of your research?
A: Not always. Many times we have multiple kamon in our results, for the following reasons:
What I can do is to provide with what information I can find from veriable sources so you can investigate further
Q: How will I know that the information you provide is legitimate?
A: I always provide references to all data sources so that they are verifiable.
Q: What should I o with the information you provide me?
A: I always try to document any hints that I can provide on how you can investigate further. Sometimes they are geographical locations where the family name originated. Other times there have been families whose ancestors had castles and even museums dedicated to their history.
Q: What if I have documents that I need to have translated?
A I also provide translation services.
Q: How do I start?
A: Contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org to get started today!
